![]() Anyone notice how of the three guys she is for a fact romantically involved with, that being Hyleth, Hubert, and Dedue, are the ones able to keep the more stoic ones (although Hubert is more debatable given he's a troll)Įdelgard's is shown more so through the story than supports, but I still think it's pretty sweet. However, she has an amusing support with Hubert too, which is makes Hubert the one being uncomfortable in the end, which is a nice turn of events. However, her supports with Ferdinand are better in my opinion, plus they have the best ending in the game hands down. I also imagine Margrave Edmund being the Man-Ray and Byleth being the Patrick in this case. Marianne's is really sweet, and their CF ending puts more focus on her too while he's the support. I always flip between Lysithea and Constance for being the best ones Byleth, especially with Constance having the best S-Support art in the game, but Lysithea has an amazing ending with Byleth on CF, so she gets points there, but to be fair, most of Byleth's endings are better on CF, since they feel more unique. And I think there’s no character more truly similar to Byleth than Dedue. Similarity is a great foundation for any relationship, platonic or romantic. In Azure Moon, they’re both like older sibling or parental figures to the other Lions. And in the paralogue with Marianne, they’re shown to be protective of her, like Dedue is with Dimitri, and they’re both characters who are shown to be willing to throw their lives on the line for their loved ones (Byleth-Hilda A support, Felix-Dedue B iirc, there’s some I may be forgetting it’s been a while since I played Azure Moon). Byleth’s dialogue options are shown to be friendly, and they’re clearly slow to anger. They’re both stoic, quiet, and seemingly intimidating figures, but underneath they’re both patient, mature, and empathetic. I like this one enough.” Dedue.ĭedue’s personality is relatively similar to Byleth, actually, from what little we can glean out of Byleth due to them not having a lot to go on. But if there’s one where I could go “that’s alright by me. Especially not the lords (well Claude’s moderately tolerable… but the others, no, just no). ![]() ![]() I don’t think any of the Byleth romances are very good.
